3rd INTERNATIONAL ICST CONFERENCE ON IT REVOLUTIONS: "The role of the IT's in our life: from Smart Life to Smart Energy"

SCOPE OF CONFERENCE

The Third International Symposium IT Revolutions 2011 will bring together top technical professionals from industry, researchers and academia to exchange information and results on recent work on systems, technologies, processes and applications.

The conference will address current and future trends in the state of the technology for solving and managing daily practices, and foster interdisciplinary collaborative research in this area. Conference aims will focus on all aspects about the role and deployment of the new information and communications technologies in the 21st Century lifestyle, taking special attention to the newest emerging wireless technologies and its integration in any life scenario, covering topics from eHealth and Ambient Assisted Living to Energy Sustainability and Smart Grids applications and practices.

IT Revolutions 2011 will be held in Córdoba, Spain, World Heritage City, from 23 to 25 of March.

The conference solicits original technical papers that were not previously published and are not currently under review for publication elsewhere. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

PAPERS

Full technical papers, invited papers, and work-in-progress papers are allowed up to 20 pages (12 pages minimum) and the short papers length between 8 to 12 pages, including all figures, tables and references. The papers exceeding the defined length will incur additional charges.


WORKSHOP/DEMO/TUTORIAL/INDUSTRY TRACK/PANEL PROPOSALS

Proposals for workshops/demos/tutorials/industry tracks/panels are solicited. Potential organizers are welcome to submit proposals to the respective Chairs. Please visit the conference website for details on submissions (www.itrevolutions.org/2011).


PUBLICATION

Accepted papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering (LNICST) series. The proceedings will be available in both soft and hard copies by Springer. In addition, the content of the proceedings will be submitted for review by various indexing services such as EI, DBLP, Google Scholar, SCOPUS, Scitopia and other important sites.
